Folksy Florals pattern for hand embroidery

This folksy, traditional, yet modern, inspired-by-nature pattern will make any garment feel more special! It was designed to be stitched onto garments or added to everyday objects—wherever you want a touch of handmade beauty in your life. The pattern includes two separate motifs, perfect for mixing, matching, or spreading across different pieces. You can embroider it as I did  – on the left and right sides of a shirt, or add to two different garments separately.

Each finished design measures ca. 10 x 17 cm.

What is included in your package

  • Full-size pattern (2 parts) printed on A4 self-adhesive, water-soluble fabric stabilizer, Vlieseline
  • Full-size pattern printed on paper
  • Detailed stitching instructions
  • Close-up colour photographs, also of the background, explaining particular elements of the pattern

How you’ll receive your pattern: It will arrive in the mail. You can also add a hoop, fabric, or threads to the package.

  • Embroidery hoop – 12 cm or 15 cm
  • Embroidery needles with a sharp point, size 24 and 20
  • Thread – 3 DMC cotton embroidery skeins (you will have plenty left for other projects)
  • Linen or cotton fabric/garment
  • Small scissors

Thread colour (DMC stranded cotton): DMC #712 or #Ecru
